Concrete Foreman

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Construction Foreman to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of concrete experience (both flat and vertical applications), experience with leading a team of form setters (directing more than setting), and at least 2 years experience with directing a pouring crew (ability to order concrete and required trucks and trucks spacing),and the ability to read plans. This role involves organization, forethought, and a proven track record of success.

Experience:

• Proven experience in concrete finishing or related construction fields (5 year minimum).
• - in layout and grade concrete for footings and walls
• - in steel ply and aluminum form systems
• - in rebar and anchor bolt placement
• - with placing concrete in both hot and cold weather conditions

Responsibilities:

• Ability to think ahead - make sure that guys and materials are where they're needed
• Ability to have more than one project going on at the same time
• Lead and supervise a crew of concrete workers on various projects.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure the accurate execution of concrete work.
• Schedule and coordinate daily activities, ensuring efficient use of materials and labor.
• Monitor job-site safety and enforce safety procedures in compliance with local regulations.
• Ensure concrete mixes, pouring, and finishing techniques meet project standards.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other construction teams.
• Maintain quality control and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the field.
• Track project progress and ensure deadlines are met.
• Assist in material and equipment procurement when needed.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior crew members.
