What are the responsibilities and job description for the Class B Pickup and Delivery Driver - 9:30am start position at Sutton Transport?
Qualifications:
- At least one year of straight truck experience, preferably P&D.
- Valid CDL B
- HAZMAT AND TANKER ENDORSEMENTS
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations in last three years.
- Ability to work independently and return home daily.
Work Schedule:
- Daily start time of 9:30 AM, Monday thru Friday
- 45-50/hr week, home daily

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain commercial vehicles in compliance with company and industry regulations.
- Transport goods safely to their destination, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Follow route and schedule to optimize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and reliability of the equipment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including the proper handling of hazardous materials if applicable.
- Handle unexpected situations, such as adverse weather conditions or traffic, with professionalism and adaptability.
