We are seeking a dynamic Technology & Digital Arts Teacher to lead engaging instruction in technology skills and graphic arts for K-8 students. This role blends digital literacy with creative expression, helping students develop essential 21st-century skills in a hands-on, innovative learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach students foundational technology skills, including digital literacy, coding, online safety, and responsible technology use.
• Lead instruction in graphic arts, incorporating digital media, design software, and creative technology tools.
• Integrate technology with traditional and digital art forms, fostering creativity through multimedia projects such as digital illustration, animation, photography, and video production.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to support technology integration across subject areas.
• Maintain and manage technology resources, ensuring students have access to up-to-date software and digital tools.
• Foster a creative, inclusive classroom environment that encourages experimentation, collaboration, and problem-solving.

Sutton School is part of the Kingdom East School District, located in the heart of a vibrant community in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We operate seven preK-8th grade schools ranging from 60 to 500 students. Our high school students have “choice” and may opt to attend one of the traditional independent schools -- Lyndon Institute or St. Johnsbury Academy -- or another high school of their choosing.
