We are looking to fill positions for full-time Veterinary Technician. You will be required to work a mix of shifts between mornings and evenings. Shifts vary from 8-10 hours, 32-40 hours a week.
The best candidate will have a minimum of 1 -2 years of veterinary experience preferred. They will have strong communication skills, be enthusiastic, reliable, detail-oriented, interested in learning and working as part of a team - including culture development. Our technicians are responsible for carrying out the Veterinarian's instructions, assisting in exam rooms and surgery, managing their time, communicating with the team and with our clients, care of patients, cleaning and maintaining hospital and client areas, collecting and preparing laboratory samples, venipuncture, radiology, use of computers and preparing prescriptions.

Proficient In The Following Technical Skills
- Perform blood collection via all routes and ability to know best collection method based on individual patient needs or specific test requirements.
- Assist veterinarian in all aspects during surgical procedures; pre-medication, set up, induction, preparation, maintenance of general anesthesia, surgical monitoring, surgical assisting, recovery, writing post op orders and pain management protocols.
- I.V. catheter placement, fluid therapy, fluid pump machine operation and maintenance.
- Radiology machine operation and appropriate patient positioning.
