Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Assist with the assessment of patients' health status by taking vital signs and recording medical histories.
- Provide support to patients during their stay, ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and their families about health management, medication usage, and treatment plans.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance nursing skills.
Skills
- Proficient in medical terminology relevant to patient care settings.
- Strong knowledge of urgent care practices and procedures.
- Ability to administer medications safely and effectively.
- Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center or similar high-acuity environment is a plus.
