About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven sales leader for one of our fast-growing partnership companies in the Midwest region. In this role, you will lead field sales efforts, secure high-impact partnerships with schools and districts, and support a team of sales professionals in driving business growth. This hybrid role blends strategic leadership with hands-on sales development, making it ideal for a high-achieving professional eager to make an impact.

This position reports directly to our Regional Vice President of Sales and carries an individual sales quota while working closely with an inside sales partner. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, excels in solution selling, and has a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.


What You’ll Do

  • Drive sales growth by building strategic partnerships with schools, districts, and educational organizations.
  • Represent our products and services, effectively communicating their value to potential customers.
  • Work field sales territory alongside an inside sales colleague to achieve individual and team quotas.
  • Identify and engage new sales prospects through cold calling, emailing, LinkedIn outreach, and other marketing efforts.
  • Conduct market research to assess customer needs and uncover new sales opportunities.
  • Present, negotiate, and close proposals, quotes, and contracts with prospective clients.
  • Develop and distribute sales and marketing materials to support outreach efforts.
  • Track and manage leads using CRM tools like Salesforce, Apollo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to refine lead generation strategies and optimize sales campaigns.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, market developments, and sales methodologies.
  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly activities, pipelines, and forecasts to ensure transparency and efficiency.
  • Contribute to a strong team culture built on enterprise, resourcefulness, and a commitment to mission-driven success.


What We’re Looking For

  • 5 years of experience in education programs/technology sales, consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • A proven leader who is also a hands-on doer.
  • Strong solution-selling experience with a history of negotiating high-value contracts.
  • Experience collaborating with Field Sales and Marketing leadership to drive efficiency and results.
  • Accuracy in forecasting and the ability to manage a sales pipeline effectively.
  • Resourcefulness in strategic thinking and problem-solving.
  • A high-achieving, collaborative professional who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with decision-makers.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce, Apollo, and HubSpot.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel frequently.
