We are seeking a detail-oriented Incoming Inspection Technician to inspect and verify the quality of parts received from suppliers and the machine shop. This role will be responsible for interpreting engineering drawings, and programming of digital inspection equipment like the Keyence and Vertex in order to inspect parts to company quality standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and program Keyence and Vertex machines to inspect parts for defects and dimensional accuracy
- Interpret measurement results and document findings in inspection reports
- Perform inspections for plating quality and material hardness, using XRF and hardness testers.
- Work closely with quality, production, and engineering teams to facilitate and resolve inspection issues
- Provide support to other members of the inspection team
- Follow company procedures and industry standards for quality assurance
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives related to inspection processes
- Experience with digital inspection equipment such as Keyence and Vertex machines
- Experience with analog measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, etc
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail, and analytical problem-solving skills
- Experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment preferred
- Programming experience with Keyence and Vertex
- Basic knowledge of quality management systems
- Strong documentation and communication skills
