Position Overview:
We are looking for a driven Sr. Business Analyst with a background in business and 5-8 years of consulting experience. In this role, you will help emerging and established life sciences clients solve complex business challenges by providing data-driven insights, managing projects, and delivering strategic insights and recommendations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and directly engage with senior leaders to support high-value initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or contribute to strategic initiatives, including business process improvements, cross-functional collaboration, operational optimization, and market analysis.
- Collaborate with senior leadership at client organizations to define goals and structure solutions to complex business challenges.
- Support development and implementation of de-risking strategies to help clients navigate uncertain regulatory and commercial environments, market fluctuations, and operational risks.
- Analyze business data, market trends, and financial information to develop recommendations that drive operational and financial performance.
- Develop comprehensive client deliverables, including presentations, reports, and dashboards, to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and client expectations, ensuring successful delivery within scope and budget.
- Support client engagements across areas such as launch planning, market access, supply chain, and commercialization strategies.
- Conduct workshops, lead client meetings, and provide actionable insights to guide decision-making.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and regulatory changes to inform client strategies and risk mitigation plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 5-8 years of experience in management consulting or a strategic role within life sciences commercialization, healthcare, or related industries.
- Proven expertise in analyzing and interpreting business data to provide actionable recommendations.
- Strong project management skills with experience in leading projects or workstreams.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and confidently to clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, client-focused mindset.
- Willingness to travel up to 25 – 50%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or biotech industries.
- Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Experience working directly with senior-level stakeholders, contributing to high-impact decisions.
