About the job Title: Business Development Manager Location- NYC, NY - Hybrid Duration: Long Term Contract Responsibilities: Prospecting & Lead Generation: Actively identify and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, industry events, and online research. Develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns to engage potential clients. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline. Sales Process Management: Conduct thorough needs assessments and present tailored solutions to prospective clients. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals. Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM system. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers. Attend industry events and conferences to network and build brand awareness. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process. Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape. Understand and articulate the value proposition of our Managed IT and Cybersecurity services. Understand the specific needs of businesses within the NYC/LI area. Qualifications: Minimum of 7 -10_years__ of experience in sales, preferably in the Managed IT Services (MSP) and/or Cybersecurity industry. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building a strong sales pipeline. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity principles, and related technologies. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong networking and relationship-building skills. Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Existing network of contacts within the NYC/LI business community. "Hunter" mentality, with a proactive and results-oriented approach. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field.
