Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher/Busser/Food Runner to join our team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This role is essential to maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service. Duties
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
- Bus tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next customers.
- Run food to tables promptly and accurately as it becomes ready.
- Help set up dining areas for service, including arranging tables and chairs as needed.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations.
- Support catering events as required by assisting with food service and clean-up.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations in food service.
- Manage cleanliness of kitchen and dining room prior to opening and closing to ensure readiness for customers to arrive.
Skills
- Previous bussing/running/dishwashing experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards within the kitchen and dining areas.
- Basic knowledge of food service operations is a plus.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed in the hospitality setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
