Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual for an entry level R&D Technician to join our Quality Assurance team. As an R&D Technician, you will be responsible for conducting research and development activities to support the development of cutting-edge sauces and salad dressings. This is an exciting opportunity and we are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities:
- Work with management and customers to develop and make test batches of new products.
- Works with purchasing department to source new ingredients as needed.
- Submit samples to the laboratory and assist in stability testing.
- Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures, results, and observations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products and technologies
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace.
- Conduct quality control testing to ensure product compliance with regulatory standards
- Assist QA Manager as needed
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Background working in a kitchen or restaurant making sauces, condiments and dressings is helpful but not required.
- Experience working in a laboratory setting, conducting experiments, and utilizing laboratory equipment helpful
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suit
