PERSONAL TRAINER BROOKLYN, NY
We are currently seeking an experienced personal trainer that is certified through NASM, ACE or ISSA that would be the main trainer to train residents of new high rise, luxury apartment building in Brooklyn (the apartment building is located on State Street with cross streets of Flatbush and Atlantic Ave). Our company has exclusive rights to tenants who wish to train with a personal trainer in their new 3,000 square foot gym. We will provide you the clients but we are seeking a trainer who will available to train multiple clients on a regular basis. You should live in or near Brooklyn to ensure your on time arrival for all training sessions. This is a great opportunity to be the main trainer for residents in a new high rise apartment building.
The Certified Personal Trainer will be responsible for providing one-on-one or couples personalized fitness instruction in the apartment gym while encouraging them to reach their fitness goals. Responsibilities are as follows:
- Customize client workout programs developed from the Initial Assessment
- Utilize the Svetness Fitness App for all client sessions, including programming & session notes
- Demonstrate each exercise and ensure client is performing correctly with or without modifications
- Conduct client Reassessments every 4-6 weeks
- Maintain client session appointments through Svetness scheduling software
- Able to provide a flexible schedule to accommodate client appointments
- Able to commute to and from apartment building in a short amount of time to ensure you are on time for training sessions
QUALIFICATIONS
- Certified Personal Trainer: Accredited by NASM, ISSA, ACE or other nationally recognized organization.
- CPR/AED Certification: Ensure clients' safety with up-to-date CPR/AED training.
- Must have excellent verbal skills in order to explain correct form to clients while training
- Well educated
- Experience: 1-3 years of personal training experience.
- Strong communication skills: Effectively communicate verbally, in writing, and technically.
- Knowledgeable in nutrition: Possess a basic understanding of nutrition and healthy living practices.
- Fitness expertise: Familiarity with a variety of exercise equipment and personal training methods.
- Physical ability: Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs. and performing athletic calisthenics duties.
- Reliable form of transportation or if taking public transportation living close by to apartment building to ensure on time arrival
