As a Plumbing Project Manager , you will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise to coordinate and oversee the planning, procurement, and execution of commercial plumbing projects. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of SVM by managing projects with budgets ranging from $200k to $12M alongside 3-4 proposals in the pipeline. You will play a crucial role in fostering robust connections to both retain existing clients and create opportunities for new projects.
What You Will Do
- Performs on-site inspections to assess and evaluate existing plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and monitoring overall project progress.
- Schedule and execute productive meetings with external partners such as subcontractors, vendors, GCs, and owners.
- Compile project submittals from appropriate vendors, ensuring correct pricing, delivery dates, and other specifications are met.
- Collaborate with field personnel onsite as required to review design modifications, address change orders, and engage in proactive problem-solving.
- Manage and complete Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, change order requests, purchase orders, and other essential documentation necessary for the seamless execution of projects.
- Maintain, update, and organize all project documentation, ensuring a smooth turnover to the field team.
- Maintain the plumbing procurement log, tracking and overseeing the acquisition of materials and equipment for assigned projects.
- Consolidate drawing sets and submittal changes for assigned projects.
- Assist the Project Executive (PX) with Work in Progress (WIP) reports to ensure accurate tracking of project financials.
- Scan and print plans for assigned job.
- Attend scheduled project meetings with or without the PX.
- Perform estimating duties for assigned projects, contributing to the accurate assessment of project costs.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering team, creating Bluebeam markups as needed to support project requests.
- Contribute to the overall success of projects by assisting with various duties as needed.

This is a full-time exempt position. The compensation for this role is $115,000 - $130,000 annually and is based on experience and skillset.
