Social Vocational Services (SVS) has been serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout California since 1977.
THE POSITION:
We're looking for a full-time Program Director for our San Jose program. SVS offers a generous incentive package for client attendance and growth.
Job duties include:
- Recruit, hire, train and supervise staff
- Perform outreach to referral agencies, parents, and prospective clients
- Submit accurate and timely Client billing and Personnel documents
- Screen, select, complete admission procedures and program assignment of clients
- Oversee client assessment and INSP development and implementation
- Communicate effectively with other service providers and funding agency personnel
- Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance Standards
- Monitor program expenditures
- May be required to provide direct service to consumers
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Three years' experience in the field of developmental disabilities
- Two years management experience
- Must have personal vehicle and proof of auto liability insurance
- Good driving record and valid California driver's license
- Must obtain DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance
- Must pass post-job offer job-related physical exam including TB test
- First Aid/CPR certification (SVS will provide)
- Effective written and verbal communication
Job Type: Full-time
