Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a positive dining experience. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and assist with seating arrangements while maintaining a professional demeanor. Duties
- Greet guests promptly and warmly as they arrive at the restaurant.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host station and dining area.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers regarding guest needs.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant's services and menu.
- Assist in resolving guest concerns or complaints in a courteous manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on phone etiquette and hospitality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others and providing excellent guest relations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
