The Senior Systems Engineer shall possess the following capabilities :
- Lead technical studies on servers, storage, and network infrastructure to support the program's system architecture decisions for sustaining worldwide enterprise operations.
- Oversee and manage a high-priority, multi-year, on-site technical task focused on consolidating enterprise server sites.
- Analyze users' requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to formulate system requirements specifications.
- Lead design and development activities by analyzing system requirements and advising alternative approaches, conducting feasibility studies, and providing technical leadership for integrating requirements, design, and technology.
- Guide users in requirement formulation and provide expertise in system development and implementation planning.
- Develop technical documentation, including system architecture and design documentation, to ensure clear understanding and continuity of system development efforts.
- Interact with Government stakeholders to address Systems Engineering technical considerations, resolve problems, and manage conflicts.
- Ensure the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
- Communicate effectively with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives to provide updates, report progress, and address any concerns or issues.
