Additionally, the individual in this position will address technical inquiries via phone and email, ensuring effective communication with customers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the custom assembly team to develop and deliver cost-effective fluid system solutions that fulfill end-user requirements.
- Assists production with engineering changes, as well as improvements to existing routings/documents to conform company/ customer quality standards.
- Creates inspection and test plans as well as drawings for the production team.
- Assist in capability review with engineers.
- Reads engineering drawings and adheres to the necessary documentation to ensure compliance with Swagelok and customer requirements.
- Trains in certification programs offered by Swagelok for assembly.
- Supports technical sales efforts and addresses technical inquiries.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Associate’s degree in engineering, (mechanical, manufacturing, and chemical preferred.)
- 3 -5 years of experience in quality, engineering, or technical field.
- Fluent in Microsoft programs, Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel or equivalent
- Business System software and 3D CAD (Solidworks)
- Strong background in Windows based computer programs.
- Work closely and collaboratively with the entire production/manufacturing team.
- Works well under pressure, meets deadlines, achieves/exceeds goals and is able to multi-task.
- Must be a self-starter and have excellent time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be highly detail oriented.
- Must have a mechanical aptitude.
