Fulfillment & Assembly Technician

Swagelok Pittsburgh, located just north of downtown Pittsburgh, is seeking a talented and high-energy Fulfillment & Assembly Technician to join our team. Responsibilities include…

• Fulfilling customer orders promptly and accurately by pulling, packing, and shipping products.
• Receiving incoming products, inspect for accuracy, and store them properly.
• Assisting walk-in customers with their needs. Providing technical information to help customers identify proper component options and performing basic technical product discovery.
• Assembling and customizing products as required.
• Documenting, filing, and organizing paperwork in alignment with our Quality Program.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to special projects, and advancing your career with training and development opportunities.
• Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse and shop floor.
• Learning about our business, customers, and products to enhance customer service.
• Contributing to our high-performance team by demonstrating teamwork and collaboration, while pitching in with other tasks as needed to achieve collective success.

Qualifications:

• Experience: No experience needed but 2 years of related work experience preferred.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Skills:
• Excellent attention to detail, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Strong ability and desire to learn about our products and services, with a commitment to continuously improving product knowledge to better serve our customers.
• Ability to foster teamwork, collaboration, and a high-performance culture in a dynamic, open environment while balancing both team and individual responsibilities.
• Pre-Employment Requirements:
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
• Must consent to a background investigation and pre-employment drug screening. Employment is conditional upon successful completion of these requirements. 

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Ability to move between buildings and work in outdoor conditions as needed.
• Agility to operate warehouse equipment, including a carousel and forklift.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on environment that may involve dust, grease, or other elements.
