Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Environmental Specialist to join our team. Duties
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain environmental policies and procedures.
- Prepare detailed reports on environmental performance, incidents, and compliance status.
- Provide training to employees on EHS protocols, including first aid, CPR, and workers compensation law.
- Investigate incidents related to environmental health and safety, performing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote awareness of environmental issues and best practices.
- Stay updated on changes in environmental regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in report writing and training development.
- Familiarity with EHS principles and practices.
- Understanding of EPA regulations and OSHA standards.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information clearly.
