Swamp Fox Agency Account Manager Position - Commercial Lines
Overview: The Account Manager for Commercial Lines Insurance is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, providing exceptional customer service, ensuring policy compliance, and maintaining client relationships. This role involves working with underwriters, brokers, and clients to ensure their insurance needs are met with the best possible coverage, while also handling day-to-day client inquiries, renewals, and service requests.
This is an in-office position. The workweek consists of Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Duties:
The following are duties performed by the account manager. The account manager is to fulfill the duties to the best of their ability and ask for assistance when needed to further their knowledge and capabilities.
- Maintain renewal business for an assigned list of accounts including but not limited to sending out renewal schedules, ordering loss runs and MVRs, submitting to carriers, reviewing quotes for accuracy and compiling data in reference to the expiring policy versus the renewal policy for Producer’s review.
- Compile submissions for new business and submit to carrier.
- Work closely with the Producer on file to present accurate information to the carrier and insured.
- Relay information from the Producer or Insured to the carrier underwriters.
- Evaluate policy terms, conditions, and coverage to ensure they align with client needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling or up-selling additional coverage or insurance products based on client needs.
- Cross Train and act as back up in departments as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Insurance License: Must hold an active property and casualty (P&C) license.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, preferably in an account management or service role.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance policies, including general liability, property, workers' compensation, auto, and professional liability.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to maintain professional relationships.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
