We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in promoting independence while delivering personalized care tailored to each client's unique needs.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide medication administration as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
- Support clients with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safe travel to appointments or social engagements.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Uphold resident rights by respecting privacy, dignity, and individuality of each client.
- Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
Qualifications
- Previous experience senior care, or long-term care is preferred.
- Knowledge of memory care practices and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Strong understanding of patient monitoring techniques and medication administration protocols.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and their families.
- Ability to demonstrate compassion, patience, and empathy while providing direct support to clients.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable but not mandatory; training may be provided.
