LUNCH/RECESS MONITOR - SWAMPSCOTT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Swampscott Elementary School is seeking lunch/recess monitors to assist with the supervision of students in Grades 1 through 4 at lunch and recess. The position is Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on days when school is in session.
$20.81 per hour.
Lunch/Recess:
Lunch/Recess Monitors needed to monitor student safety in the cafeteria and on the playground, encourage cooperative play, and assist with conflict resolution, along with cafeteria safety and manners. At recess, closely monitor students for safety, social interactions, and appropriate play. The successful candidate will be able to work with a team of lunch/recess monitors to provide a safe and caring environment for all students.

Physical Requirements:
This position may require standing the entire shift, walking, and sitting; talking or hearing in person using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects; reaching with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The individual may be exposed to various hazards in the building.
