Are you a skilled maintenance professional looking for a full-time, year-round leadership role in a dynamic waterfront resort? Swan Bay Resort & Marina is seeking a Lead Property Maintenance Technician to assist in overseeing daily maintenance operations, repairs, and facility upkeep. This role serves as the right hand to the Property Superintendent, ensuring our resort is maintained to the highest standards while leading by example and fostering teamwork.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist the Property Superintendent in leading and coordinating maintenance operations.
- Perform and oversee all phases of building maintenance and repair, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Apply skills in basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance to keep the property in top condition.
- Supervise and support maintenance staff, delegating tasks and providing guidance to ensure a productive, team-driven work environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues quickly to maintain seamless resort operations.
- Maintain resort grounds, buildings, and amenities, ensuring they are clean, functional, and welcoming for guests.
- Communicate with management regarding maintenance needs, preventative upkeep, and project execution.
- Uphold safety standards, ensuring proper use of tools, materials, and equipment.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in general maintenance, facility repair, or construction-related fields.
- Strong knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry work. (Certifications are a plus!)
- Leadership experience, with the ability to guide and support a team while working alongside them.
- Reliability, problem-solving skills, and adaptability to take on challenges proactively.
- Reliable transportation and ownership of basic tools required for daily tasks.
