Summary
The Behavior Technician Trainer (BTT) is responsible for hiring, onboarding, and training new Behavior Technicians as well as overseeing their ongoing development, ensuring high standards of care and professionalism within the clinical setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :
Communication and Team Building
Reports directly to the Lead Trainer(LT) and site Clinical Director(CD).
Collaborate with Human Resources, CDs, BCBAs, Clinical Supervisors, and Admins.
Support site management with employee relations as needed.
Establish professional relationships with coworkers, clients, and their families.
Facilitate an atmosphere in which excellence in client care is provided.
Help with problem resolution as situations arise.
Establishes uniform correspondence procedures and style practices.
Manage the orientation, training, overlap schedule, competency, and development of new clinical staff.
Operational Responsibilities
Provide new hire training on company practices, including CPR & First Aid.
Conduct overlaps for all Behavioral Technicians to provide coaching and feedback.
Support site management in enforcing employee compliance with company policies and procedures.
Implement protocols that enhance customer support for clients and their families.
Research and develop resources for efficient workflow.
Maintain a professional facility appearance in line with Forward Family Services standards.
Oversee the daily progress of new hires, including the 40-hour RBT course and adherence to BACB guidelines.
Monitor new hires' usage of Artemis software for data collection and compliance.
Provide clinical feedback and support, assisting with client behaviors and implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
Conduct Inter-Observer Agreements and ensure standard performance assessments within 30 / 60 / 90 days for all new hires.
Assist with interviews, onboarding, and orientation of new hires.
Ensure timely execution of administrative duties, session conversions, email responsiveness, and professional reliability.
Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent, and timely manner.
Model best practices for professional conduct and accountability.
Drive personal development and awareness of improvement opportunities for the center and the team.
Track and report all daily progress on employee trackers, development journals, and Key Point Indicators
Manage and organize employee records digitally and physically, upload all new hire paperwork, and conduct new hire orientations.
Other duties may be assigned in correlation to site practices and procedures.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This role does not have clinical supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements
2 years' experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis
At least one year of college experience in psychology, child development, or education
Two or Four-Year Track College Enrollment (Preferred)
Must Pass TB Test and Live Scan
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable with communicating with others (e.g. fellow BTs, clinical supervisors, client families, etc.).
Collaborate with adjunctive service providers and all other members of the client educational environment.
Requirements
2 years' experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis
At least one year of college experience in psychology, child development, or education
Two or Four-Year Track College Enrollment (Preferred)
Must Pass TB Test and Live Scan
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable with communicating with others (e.g. fellow BTs, clinical supervisors, client families, etc.).
