Compensation : $17 / hr. DOE.
Seeking a professional Seasonal Front Desk Assistant who is capable of working efficiently and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment for a busy accounting firm.
Duties will be shared between Admin Assistant as directed by management.
- Checking our mailbox and preparing conference rooms for daily meetings.
- Answering multiple phone lines.
- Scanning and indexing several files each day.
- Greeting and assisting clients and scheduling appointments.
- Preparing daily mail. Including taking certified mailings to the post office.
- Assembling tax returns for partner review.
- Take and record payments on client accounts. Send daily reports to A / R.
- Providing properly secured copies to authorized individuals.
- Assisting manager in office activities and catering duties.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
This position does require movement. Up and down to deliver files, stocking supplies, delivering mail to staff, picking up catering orders for the office, etc.
Reliable transportation is a must. The hours are part-time, 12pm to 5pm Monday through Friday, punctuality is essential. This time does include a 30 minute paid break. Hours may increase to full-time 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday as the tax season progresses, which will then provide an hour unpaid break.
