POSITION SUMMARY :
The Clinical Dietitian plans and delivers nutrition care to patients in accordance with the physician’s diagnosis and requirements of regulatory agencies. functions as a member of the multi-disciplinary healthcare team to provide nutrition counseling for individuals, performs nutrition screening and assessments, and develops appropriate nutrition care plans.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Food and Nutrition
- Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetics Registrations
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Basic computer skills with minimal guidance
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS :
Mental : Stress Level : Moderate to high
EXPOSURE RISK :
Category II - Jobs in which required tasks normally do not involve exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues but which could result in Category I exposure.
