Our client, a mid-size law firm with deep roots in the entertainment industry, is seeking a mid-level Labor & Employment Associate to join and work out of their LA office.
This firm offers a unique place to practice labor & employment law. About 60% of their work is for entertainment companies including the major studios, streaming companies, and television networks and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP).
With a robust team of dedicated labor & employment attorneys, you will be given the opportunity to work on all types of matters – you won’t be narrowed in. The firm handles general employment litigation, including PAGA and wage and hour, plus traditional labor work.
The firm handles sophisticated work at reasonable rates and has maintained a vibrant, full-service labor & employment practice for decades.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4 years of labor & employment experience (2021 J.D. ) handling single-plaintiff and class action cases
- Am Law 100 or top regional firm experience preferred
- Excellent academic credentials from top law school
- Excellent legal research and analytical skills
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
