Maintenance Crew Member

Position
We are looking for hard-working individuals with well rounded maintenance and general handyman skills to join our maintenance crew. Our maintenance team is essential to the operation of our horse corrals, retail store, and restaurant. Maintenance crew members may work individually or as a team depending on the task at hand. Must be willing to work outdoors in all types of weather. 

Horse experience is not required, but comfort around them is a bonus as many of the daily tasks take place in close proximity to horses. 


Preference given to those who have experience with machinery (ie. skidsteers), chainsaws, and power tools


Primary Functions and Responsibilities
Maintenance team members help with a variety of tasks including but not limited to:

• Landscaping (weeding, mowing, etc.)
• Driving truck and trailer
• Trail work
• Throwing hay
• Basic carpentry
• Basic finish work
• Preventative maintenance
• Grounds cleanup
• Janitorial tasks

The ideal applicant:

• Is punctual, hardworking, and dedicated
• Has excellent communication skills and knows when to ask for help
• Is a self-starter who can work independently and stay on task
• Can identify and troubleshoot basic problems
• Is eager to learn
• Adapts quickly to changes in plans and enjoys variety in day-to-day tasks
• Looks for and notices when things need to be done

Compensation
$20/hour
Housing not provided. A spot may be available to park your own RV/camper.
