Job Description: As a Nurse Practitioner at our clinic, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality primary care services to our patients. You will work closely with our physicians and healthcare team to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of medical conditions. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, providing patient education, performing Pap smears, administering therapeutic and vitamin injections, and conducting IV infusions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Perform GYN exams and Pap smears
- Administer therapeutic and vitamin injections
- Conduct IV infusions
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinic meetings
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois
- At least two years of experience in a primary care clinic setting
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of primary care practices
- Proficiency in performing Pap smears, administering injections, and conducting IV infusions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
