Schedule: 10 am - 6 pm Monday - Thursday; 4 am- 12 noon on Sunday
Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent work experience. Must be able to demonstrate initiative, good interpersonal skills, good communication skills, and basic computer skills. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift 25 pounds.
Job Responsibilities: Client Advocate position reports to Resident Shelter Supervisor. Once hired, the candidate must take 40 hours of domestic violence training. The successful candidate will also have responsibility of answering the 24-7 hotline.
The Client Advocate will provide advocacy, information, and referrals to federal, state, community, and shelter resources or programs to meet the needs of emergency shelter residents.

Qualifications: College degree is required as approved by the Illinois Department on Aging. Must demonstrate initiative, interpersonal skills, and good communication skills. Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation to make home visits, and be able to lift 25 pounds. Caseworkers are reimbursed monthly for mileage at the IRS rate.
Job Responsibilities: This is a full-time position- 40 hours per week. The Adult Protective Services Caseworker must complete training through the Illinois Department on Aging as well as complete 40 hours of Domestic Violence Training. Successful candidates must pass background checks through the Illinois State Police and the Department of Children & Family Services (DCFS).
Successful candidates must have good word composition skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and be able to complete all case notes/documentation in a web-based program with the Illinois Department on Aging.
