Part time Cleaner/Janitor

This job is for 2 locations in the morning. Ulta Beuty in the mall and Little Bear Restaurant. The schedule is as follows. MONDAY 7AM-9:30AM Little Bear Restaurant. TUESDAY 7AM-10AM Ulta Beuty. THURSDAY 7AM-8:30 AM Little Bear Restaurant. 7 hrs per week. Must have reliable transportation. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must work well with others. Position starts at $16/hr. Raises after 30 days and 90 days. Great way to supplement your income.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, including industrial cleaning, floor care, and facilities maintenance.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and ensuring sanitary conditions.
• Execute floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing, and polishing to uphold the appearance of various surfaces.
• Conduct industrial cleaning activities as required to maintain safety standards in work environments.
• Assist with residential painting projects when necessary to enhance the aesthetic quality of facilities.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure compliance with health regulations.

Experience

• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial services is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
