What are the responsibilities and job description for the Master's Level Clinician position at Swanson Center?
SUMMARY:
As a member of a multidisciplinary team, Master’s-Level Clinicians perform key client services such as client intakes; treatment and discharge planning; individual, group, and family therapy; follow-up activities; and an array of other tasks within the scope of recognized treatment modalities done on-site, in client homes, or in the community.
QUALIFICATIONS/DEGREE:
Master’s degree in a behavioral health field that meets the standards required by third-party payers, and license eligible in the state of Indiana.
COMPETENCIES:

3. Can identify and report sentinel events and ethical violations
4. Able to accurately explain treatment strategies
5. Can describe scope of practice
6. Can analyze information and draw reasonable conclusions
7. Can perform psychosocial evaluations using the DSM-V
8. Can use appraisal instruments as an aid in treatment planning
RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibilities, depending upon level of competency, fall into the following areas:
1. Provide a variety of clinical services to clients such as, but not limited to: screening and evaluation; referral; treatment planning and therapy; discharge planning; clinical consultation; clinical supervision as assigned; client daytime emergency; programmatic services; client advocacy; and, consultation and education.
2. Must know appropriate billing codes and complete paperwork in a timely manner. Complies with productivity standards described in the Center’s collective bargaining agreement.
3. Function as a member of the clinical team. As such, participate in staffing and other meetings related to the decision making process of clinical services to clients. As either clinical or sustaining care case managers, they may represent the clients who are their responsibility in this process. In all other cases, represent one aspect of a divergent clinical input/consultative process.
4. Participate in and honor the quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards of the Center.
5. Maintain current knowledge of his or her field and specialties. If not certified or licensed, seeks certification or licensure as soon as qualified at the next available testing.
6. May be requested to do PAS/RRS assessments.
7. Follow all clinical and administrative policies and procedures.
8. Must contribute, as deemed appropriate, to inservice training efforts, and when required, to consultation and education events in areas of expertise. Participates, when requested, in the screening and interviewing of applicants for employment.
9. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.

Pay: $46,500.00 - $65,500.00 per year
