Swanstrom Tools is a leading manufacturer of precision hand tools sold globally to customers in the medical device, electronics, avionics, injection molding and jewelry industries. We are a family-owned business and have been incorporated and doing business since 1983. Our specialty cutters and pliers are 100% American made in our facility in Superior, WI.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for entering customer orders, invoicing, and processing customer payments, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. This person will also be responsible for running reports and working in our Time Clock software to assist with managing employee hours and attendance. This is a full time position, Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Entry: Accurately input customer orders into the system, verifying all information for correctness and completeness.
- Invoicing: Generate and distribute invoices promptly, ensuring all charges are correct and correspond with the services or products provided.
- Payment Processing: Handle customer payments efficiently, recording transactions and updating account information as necessary.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and organized records of orders, invoices, and payments for auditing and reference purposes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales and shipping, to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Job Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software systems.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, especially when handling financial data and customer information.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
