The Accounting Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the financial records are accurate and complete. Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to,
- Professionally represent Swanton Welding with prospective and current customers, suppliers, etc.
- Recording transactions such as expenses and sales revenue
- Processing payments to utilities and vendors to pay for supplies, materials, and other expenses.
- Sending invoices to customers to request payment for services or goods provided.
- Reconciling accounts and making notes of debits and credits that have not posted.
- Processing payroll accordingly in conjunction with Human Resources.
- Generating financial reports as requested
- Identifying and correcting any errors that occur due to data entry.
- Filing tax returns
