Swanville Public Schools seeks a highly skilled and organized individual to fill the role of Office Finance Assistant. As a key member of the central office team, this position plays a critical role in ensuring the financial functions of the school district run smoothly.
The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. They will also have a strong finance background and be able to maintain accurate records and reports.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain district accounting system, entering revenues, expenditures, and receivables.
- Review and enter all deposits into the software system.
- Prepare invoices for receivables as required.
- Assist with facilitating local, state, and federal financial compliance reports.
- Coordinate the annual audit process, including preparation of audit information as requested by the auditor.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of UFARS.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
