About the Role:
We’re looking for a creative and driven college student or recent grad to join SWAP PM as a Marketing & Product Management Intern. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who wants to gain experience in the SaaS start-up space and contribute to the growth of a high-impact product. You’ll support our team by creating product marketing content, FAQs, demo videos, and user support tools that help showcase the value of our platform.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):
1. Product Education & Support Content
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive FAQ library, written guides, and how-to documentation
- Translate complex product features into simple, user-friendly tutorials
- Collaborate with the product team to identify top user pain points and proactively address them in support materials
2. Video Demos & Walkthroughs
- Script, record, and edit short demo videos for product features and use cases
- Create voiceovers or on-camera walkthroughs to accompany platform tutorials
- Manage a repository of recorded content for marketing and training purposes
3. Marketing Content Creation
- Design engaging marketing assets (short-form videos, carousels, graphics, etc.) for web, email, and social media
- Assist in writing social media captions, email copy, and product-focused blog content
- Support the launch of marketing campaigns promoting platform updates and features
4. User Research & Testing Support
- Test new features and summarize feedback to pass back to the development team
- Help coordinate user assessment testing, including session planning, note-taking, and post-session analysis
- Collect user feedback to help refine platform messaging and UX
- Summarize findings into actionable insights for the product and marketing teams
5. Content Management & Organization
- Maintain an organized content folder system for easy reuse and reference
- Track performance of created assets (where possible) and recommend improvements
- Support the development of a scalable knowledge base and help center
Who You Are:
- A current college student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, Design, Engineering, or a related field
- Excellent communicator, writer, and editor with strong attention to detail
- Quick-to-Learn or already comfortable using video editing tools (CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere, iMovie, Loom, or similar)
- Creative and curious, with a passion for storytelling and digital communication
- Tech-savvy and eager to learn about SaaS platforms, UI/UX, and product development
- Organized, independent, and able to manage multiple tasks in a start-up environment
- Bonus points if you’ve used or are familiar with project management tools (Asana, Trello, Notion, etc.)
