FedEx Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various warehouse equipment. If you have a passion for driving and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply. You will train for 2-5 days and will receive a training pay of $100 a day. Must be 21 to apply.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Handle heavy lifting of packages, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
• Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to transportation and warehouse operations.
• Basic mechanical skills for minor vehicle maintenance are desirable.
