Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to safety regulations. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellent service. During your training period of 2-5 days you will get training pay of $100 a day.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Load and unload products, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and delivery confirmations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that arise.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Assist with heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes.
Skills
- Experience in route driving and commercial driving preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Capability for heavy lifting and moving items as needed throughout the delivery process.
- Previous experience as a courier or delivery driver is a plus.
