We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team and support daily administrative and operational tasks. Duties
Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones for customer inquiries, trucking logistics, and other business needs in a professional and timely manner.
Input and process accounts payable (AP) invoices accurately and promptly.
Track and record employee attendance daily to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
Verify Bills of Lading (BOLs) to ensure accuracy before processing shipments.
Provide exceptional customer service via phone and email, addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.
Assist with general office management tasks, including maintaining supplies, organizing files, and supporting various departments as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
Qualifications
Proficiency in computer applications, including Google Workspace, is preferred.
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting tools is a plus.
Previous experience in office administration, accounts payable, or customer service is highly desirable.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with great attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional interactions with customers and colleagues.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle competing priorities effectively.
