We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Baton Rouge, LA. As a Warehouse Associate, your primary responsibility is to maintain the flow and accuracy of inventory within the warehouse environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the warehouse operates efficiently by maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing goods. Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:
- Accurately count and verify inventory levels using established procedures and technology.
- Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials
- Load and unload inbound/outbound materials
- Ensure all scanning is completed correctly
- Ensure that orders are filled accurately and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving teams to prioritize orders.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper handling and storage of inventory.
- Generate reports and maintain documentation related to inventory activities.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate effectively and optimize efficiency.
- Answer customer questions surrounding available products.
- Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area
- ·Performs other duties as assigned
Warehouse Associate Preferred Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Previous experience in inventory management or a related field is preferred.
· Proficiency in using inventory management software is a plus
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
· Communicate information clearly and accurately,
· Exhibit exemplary customer service.
· Superior organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to lift and move items, occasionally up to 15 pounds.
· Teamwork skills.
· Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.
· Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
