Structural Engineering firm is looking for a part-time employee to work in its Fort Lauderdale, Florida office.

Primary duties will include preparing engineering drawings utilizing AutoCad software. Other duties will include office assistance to engineering staff in report and specification preparation.

Qualifications :

Current student in civil / structural engineering bachelor degree program.

Responsibilities

Take given specifications and draft accurate, attractive drawings in AutoCAD

Work closely with other members of the drafting team as well as design partners to verify accuracy and details

Follow all company guidelines for best practices

Track all time spent on projects accurately

Qualifications

Previous experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar software

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The ability to work well within a team environment

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
