Position Description : Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Information Technology to lead the implementation and maintenance of software solutions. The Director of Information Technology will oversee a team of internal product support specialists, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, innovative software that addresses the unique needs of property management, leasing, resident services, and operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Team Leadership & Management :
oLead, mentor, and manage a team of internal product support specialists.
oFoster a collaborative, high-performance work environment.
oProvide technical guidance and career development to team members.
oConduct regular performance reviews and ensure team members have opportunities for growth.
2.Software Deployment :
oDevelopment and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that supports United Apartment Group operational, financial and growth objectives.
oOversee the deployment of software solutions for property management, tenant portals, leasing applications, and maintenance tracking.
oEnsure scalable and efficient software is tailored to the needs of the multifamily industry.
oWork with executive management to define and prioritize software features, timelines, and resource allocation.
oEvaluate emerging technologies to maintain competitive edge and recommend innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
3.Company Collaboration :
oCollaborate with managers, regional managers, and executives to identify technology driven solutions for business challenges and opportunities.
oServe as the main point of contact for technical discussions with executive management across the organization as well as with our software provider, Realpage.
4.Project Management :
oLead the planning, execution, and monitoring of software projects.
oEstablish and track project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
oEnsure the delivery of software projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
oOversee data analytics initiatives to provide actionable insights that inform operational decisions.
5.Quality Assurance & Testing :
oImplement and enforce best practices for software testing.
oEnsure that software rollouts meet quality standards and satisfy user expectations.
6.Innovation & Continuous Improvement :
oStay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in the multifamily apartment industry.
oDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the functionality and efficiency of software solutions.
Qualifications :
7 years of experience in software implementation and support.
Experience working in or with the multifamily apartments or real estate industry is highly preferred.
Strong technical knowledge
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and executive management.
Knowledge of property management software systems and industry-specific technologies, RealPage is required.
