What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Associate position at SWCC?
At Southwest Cancer Care, we are growing our team and recruiting a motivated, dedicated and compassionate individual to join our patient-centered team as a Front Desk Associate. We are looking for someone who is fluent in both English and Spanish. We have a very busy office and therefore prior experience working at the front desk in a medical office is preferred. The ideal candidate would be able to help our patients feel comfortable and cared-for in addition to being efficient at getting tasks done and be able to work effectively on a team.
Primary responsibilities include checking in and checking out patients, scheduling, answering the phone and returning voicemails in addition to creating as warm and caring atmosphere. Also important is the ability to use Microsoft office products such as MS Word and Excel, standard office equipment and some familiarity with utilizing an electronic medical record (training will be provided for our specific EMR). Being able to multi-task is a must. We look forward to hearing from you!
As a Front Desk Associate, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
