Sales Associate
As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding and well-rounded sales and service experience to all guests and members by offering studio memberships and retail products and services. You will build relationships and will translate SweatHouz's mission through its product and service offerings. You will also have a strong focus on behaviors that drive member acquisition and retention.
This is a part-time position at the Worthington Studio, which is located at 71 W. Wilson Bridge Road, Suite 155 in Worthington.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Sales and Member Enrollment (40% of role)
- Executes the relationship-based sales model with each intro and passionately relates how SweatHouz products/services will satisfy their needs and goals.
- Tour potential members through the studio and describe the facilities, services, and amenities that are directly related to the intro’s individual needs and goals.
- Communicates membership options in a clear and concise manner.
- Effectively and professionally enrolls guests using company sales techniques and protocols.
- Onboards new members successfully and assists with all member retention activities in order to drive studio profitability.
Prospecting and Lead Generation (40% of role)
- Responsible for effectively setting appointments for all leads and potential new business opportunities.
- Manages and follows up on leads/new business using company software.
- Executes daily plan for successful lead management and selling activities.
- Support the Studio Manager with community events.
Guest Experience (20% of role)
- Partners with Studio Manager to provide a best-in-class, member-centric experience that strengthens member relationships and builds member retention.
- Ensures members receive a friendly greeting/check-in and prompt attention to their needs.
- Maintains name relationships with members and serves as a resource for their questions or concerns.
- Provides a clean, friendly, well-maintained studio to members and guests.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1 years of experience in sales
- Prefer experience with fitness or wellness membership sales.
- Prefer experience with relationship-based selling, building value, and overcoming objections.
- Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time.
- Must enjoy working in a fast pace environment.
