POSITION SUMMARY :
Coordinates all aspects of billing for surgical procedures including supply, instrumentation and equipment costs ensuring accurate revenue charge generation for department.
EDUCATION / TRAINING :
High School diploma required; Business degree preferred. On the job training provided
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION :
No licensure or certification required.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / ABILITIES :
Excellent organization, ability to read, write legibly and communicate effectively in English, attention to detail, and basic computer skills required. Medical terminology, surgical / healthcare, software systems knowledge or billing / charge capture experience preferred. Successful completion of annual clinical, age, and job specific competencies and skill verification tools required.
