Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, treatments, and procedures
- Conduct vital signs, perform EKGs, and collect lab samples
- Prepare patients for tests and procedures, ensuring accurate identification and documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent experience
- Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) upon hire
- National Provider BLS certification within 30 days of employment
- 6 months of healthcare experience, with at least 6 months as a Medical Assistant
