What are the responsibilities and job description for the Per Diem Staff Mammographer position at Swedish Health Services?
Responsible for producing high quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Dependent on location, may be required to utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams.
- Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Within 1 year of hire : National Registered Technologist - Mammography
Dependent on location, prior general radiography experience may be required.
2 years of Full-time mammography experience.
