The Providence Development Program is a program that will offer the opportunity to work in four different job assignments within Supply Chain Management. Each assignment will last for a period of six months, opportunities offered fall within the below listed job functions:
- Materials Management
- Inventory Management
- Sourcing
- Contracting
- Business Operations
- Procurement
This program is designed to provide each individual the opportunity to have in-depth development experiences across a range of business areas. Each specific job assignment will provide an opportunity to maximize your learning and development and will give you access to a variety of training and activities.
To qualify for this program you must meet the following criteria:
- A college student at a 4 year College who will be graduating between December 2023 - June 2024 with a Bachelor's Degree in one of the following areas of study:
- Supply Chain Management
- Statistics
- Computer Science
- Information Systems
- Business Administration
- Data Analysis
- Business Analysis
- GPA Requirement: 3.2 or Higher
- Demonstrated Analytical, leadership and problem solving skills
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills
This is a two year program that will run between July 2024 and June 2026. Upon completion of the program, participants are eligible to apply for regular full time opportunities within Providence.
Providence is calling a Supply Chain Analyst who will be given the opportunity to experience a variety of job functions within Supply Chain Management.
Job duties and responsibilities will include:
- Supporting data analytics for daily, monthly, and annual operating metrics and dashboards
- Supporting negotiations and monitoring compliance for system-wide contracts
- Analyzing contract utilization and proposal data, and formulating recommendations
- Analyzing and comprehend large amounts of data
- Creating basic to complex reports, charts, and graphs from various sources of information
- Facilitate discussions with decision-making individuals
- Leverage data mining tools and techniques to create and manage databases
- Build reporting tools, including regular scheduled KPIs
- Build and monitor a database of auto-generating reports
- Utilize data analytics to decipher data trends and variances
- Creating summary reports for leadership
This posting is for multiple openings of a Supply Chain Analyst.Providence welcomes remote work for residents living within a daily commutable distance of our office / hospital locations listed below:
- Washington (Puget Sound Region): Everett, Seattle, Issaquah, Renton, Olympia
- Southern California : Burbank, Los Angeles, Fullerton, Orange, Irvine, Mission Viejo, Apple Valley
Note: There will be a 6-12 week rotation that will require for you to report into a hospital location, close to your home address, daily as scheduled.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Analysis, Business Analysis
- 2 years' experience in: Analytics, reporting or other related work experience, demonstrated strong analytical and organization skills (or equivalency), planning efficient and accurate procedures, schedules, systems to accomplish information and database information management functions in support of activities and programs
- A track record in quickly acquiring a good understanding of the organization, its business imperatives and reporting needs
- A track record in organizing and planning with a proven ability to effectively manage time, multi-task, and achieve results in a fast paced environment with competing business priorities
- Demonstrated customer focus with a track record in building and maintaining regular communication and feedback channels
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Materials management, operations or group purchasing environment experience
