Swedish Match North America LLC, develops, manufactures, and sells quality products with market-leading brands such as ZYN nicotine pouches and other smokeless tobacco products. In order to continually promote and create innovative products that support our vision, we are currently seeking a Region Category Manager in our Southlake, TX office.
The Region Category Manager will provide full time Category Management support to strategic regional customers. He or she will analyze information from a variety of sources for large chain customers and provide insight into trends and opportunities in the "Other Tobacco Products" Category. The Region Category Manager will identify and quantify top customer business opportunities and leverage the insights for mutual retailer-Swedish Match business gains. They will develop productive and enduring relationships with top customers based on the value of our Category Management services and our ability to help large chains make better Other Tobacco Products category business decisions. The Region Category Manager will provide on-going support and training to the Sales Region Account Teams about how to effectively sell with data.
- Responsibilities :
- Work with Sales Region Account Team to identify and prioritize customer Category Management opportunities.
- Work with the Account Teams to gain understanding of the buyer, the local market, and the current category trends.
- Prepare Category Management analysis and insight for regional customer partners and present the findings to tobacco buyers.
- Develop relationships with tobacco buyers, to ensure Swedish Match continues to have opportunities for Category Captaincy.
- Follow Swedish Match Category Management processes with all regional customer partners.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute all category / business reviews, reports & planograms used by the account team.
- Accompany Account Managers on sales calls and present category reviews.
- Responsible for managing work load and expectations so needs are delivered in a timely manner.
- Determine and seek out training to develop skill set necessary to competently complete assigned tasks.
Education : Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
Experience : 5 years experience as a sales analyst, in the Consumer-Packaged Goods Category Management arena is preferred. Retail experience and / or working directly with retailers a plus. Must be able to apply Best of Class data insights practices to OTP Industry category management issues.
Skills : Thorough knowledge of syndicated scanner / consumer panel data and application of such.
Ability to apply data and research results to enhance sales presentations. Extreme proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications. Accomplished presentation skills.

The starting salary range for this position is between $90,000 - $115,000. This position is eligible to receive an annual incentive based on regional performance.
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Starting pay will be determined based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. These factors could result in a starting pay that is higher than the salary range listed.
