Job Description
One of our clients is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support new and existing projects within a fast-paced, evolving IT environment. The selected candidate will collaborate with project teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to identify system gaps, document business and technical requirements, and drive process improvements.
This position requires strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders . Candidates must be comfortable with ambiguity and frequent changes while maintaining professionalism and adaptability.
Additionally, as part of the interview process, candidates will be provided with a USE CASE example and asked to create a business requirements work product. The panel will review the work product before making a final hiring decision.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with project teams and business stakeholders to analyze business processes and pain points .
- Develop expertise in customer business applications and document findings.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify system gaps and deficiencies that require business, technical, or blended solutions .
- Create process flows, context diagrams, and data flow diagrams to illustrate current and proposed workflows.
- Document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to enhance business and technical processes.
- Organize and manage requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist the Product Owner in maintaining the product backlog and prioritizing features.
- Develop and present alternative solutions that balance cost, benefit, and feasibility.
- Collaborate with PMO, IT teams, and vendor partners to define and test potential solutions.
- Perform Quality Analyst functions , including defining test objectives, test plans, and test cases , and executing UAT testing .
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination and facilitation while keeping project leadership informed.

Requirements
Experience gathering business requirements from internal and external stakeholders – 5 years Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint – 5 years Experience creating, managing, and tracing business and IT requirements – 5 years Ability to facilitate brainstorming sessions, lead discussions, and drive teams toward defined goals – 5 years Experience working in a PMO or managing multiple simultaneous projects – 5 years Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex data and information and present findings clearly – 5 years Ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and effectively multi-task – 5 years Experience generating project reports (status updates, dashboards, budgets, etc.) – 3 years Experience working on Agile project teams – 3 years Self-starter with an inquisitive nature and a problem-solving mindset – 5 years Experience working with Medicaid IT and / or Healthcare systems – 3 years PMP or other project management certification Additional Information Work Location : Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote) – parking NOT provided.
